KAFKA : CORPUS ET VOCE -

Thursday 3 - Saturday 5 May

n-compassing productions brings together a collection of Edinburgh writers, performers and artists who have each reflected on Kafka’s exquisite and devastating parable ‘Before the Law’

Interwoven with aural, visual and physical medium, these new works seek a deeper understanding of Kafka’s tale. They will ask us all to consider the implications of the power his voice wields today. We invite you to stand at the gate with us.

This will be an innovatory and collaborative event featuring theatre, dance, live art, music, animation, film and more. It will fuse new works by Louis Patrick Blond, Running Bear Bunch, Sean Cartwright, Paul Hughes, Michael McGill, Martin Parker, David Priestley, Jem Rolls, Daniel Williams and Jennifer Williams. It will also feature performance works by Highway Diner [Kelly Crow, Laura Cameron Lewis, Kieran McLoughlin and Chris Morgan], music by Daniel Williams and Martin Parker, artwork by Anna Chapman, animations by Christopher James Armit, Elizabeth Schuch, Jan Lennon and Kostas Koutsoliotas and visual projections by Sacha Kahir and Sandy Milroy.
